Dr. Prykhodko is Board certified in otolaryngology including general otolaryngology, otology, facial plastic surgery, head and neck surgery, and pediatric otolaryngology. He is on the medical staff at OhioHealth MedCentral Hospitals.
Dr. Prykhodko received his medical degree from the National Medical University of Ukraine in 1988. In June of 2011, he completed a residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine - University Hospitals Case Medical Center, Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital, Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center, Metro Health Medical Center in Cleveland, OH. Prior to this residency program, he completed general surgery internship in Pinnacle Health Harrisburg General Hospital and second year of postgraduate general surgery residency training at Geisinger Medical Center in Pennsylvania.
Known to his patients as “Dr. Myk”, Dr. Prykhodko has particular interest in pediatric and endocrine otolaryngology. He had received several awards and recognitions for research on thyroid cancer problems. Dr. Prykhodko is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, American College of Surgeons, American Medical Association, and Northeastern Ohio Head and Neck Surgery Society.
